Pokémon GO Type Chart & Weakness Table — All 18 Types (GO Multipliers)
Updated 2026-09-03 · GBL Note guide
Type matchups decide battles in both PvP (Battle League) and PvE (raids). Hitting a weakness boosts damage a lot; a resisted or double-resisted matchup cuts it hard. Below is every one of the 18 types with its weaknesses, resistances, double-resists and offensive coverage — use it for switch timing and move choices.
GO multipliers differ from the main games
Unlike the main series (×2 / ×0.5 / ×0), Pokémon GO uses super-effective ×1.6, resisted ×0.625, and even 'immune (×0)' relationships deal ×0.390625 — there is no true immunity. STAB is ×1.2. (See the 'PvP damage math' guide for full details.)
Dual types multiply
A dual-type Pokémon multiplies each type's factor. An attack that both types are weak to is doubly super-effective ×2.56 (1.6×1.6); one both resist is ×0.39 (0.625×0.625). So the same 'weakness' hits far harder against a double-weak target.
How to read the chart
Each type card below is defensive — red 'Weak ×1.6' are the attack types that hurt it, blue 'Resist ×0.625' are what it tanks well, grey 'Double resist ×0.39' barely does anything. Green 'Strong vs' is the reverse: the types this type's moves hit super-effectively.
🛡️ Type weakness chart (Pokémon GO multipliers)
GO differs from the main series — super effective ×1.6, resisted ×0.625. Even main-series immunities (0×) are ×0.39 in GO — a double-resist, so there is no true immunity. Dual types multiply (double weak ×2.56, double resist ×0.39).
🔀 Dual-Type Matchups — a combo's real weakness
Pick two types and it multiplies. Weak to both = double weak ×2.56; resists both = double resist ×0.39 — that double-resist is the wall that makes attacks 'not hurt'.
